Dietary trend among Linux distributions that begun with Docker's popularization and applications distributed on it, couldn't miss popular Ubuntu. However, Canonical (again) decided to step up and provided both minimalistic Ubuntu version (Ubuntu Core) and a completely new application distribution mechanism (Snappy). Intended to ease application distribution primarily on big servers and small IoT devices, Snappy Ubuntu Core surely promises a lot. But can it deliver?
